🏢 ABOUT ZYWA : Zywa is the first payment app and card for the next generation (10 - 25 years old) in Middle eastern region, established in Abu Dhabi, UAE. 🔗http://www.zywa.co __________________________________ ✍️MY EXPERIENCE : This is my third product design internship. The overall experience of 3+ months at Zywa has been adventurous and game changer for me in terms of designing as well as impact. 💫. Zywa has a P.O.P culture. Passion. Ownership. Proactiveness. And this culture has shaped me toward more efficient and increased belief in First principle thinking , to solve the problems. With time my overall processed included and improved to : Conducting comprehensive user research and testing to identify pain points, refine the user journey, and ensure a more user-centric product, leading to improved customer experiences and increased user satisfaction while correspondingly achieving business goals .Major features I innovated and designed are : 💰New Savings Feature (v1): Developed a novel savings feature, addressing financial pain points and promoting healthy saving habits, resulting in increased user financial security. 💵Money Addition Redesign: Streamlined the money addition process for bank transfer, reducing user friction and boosting overall user satisfaction, leading to higher engagement and transactions. 🏆Reward System Revamp: Revamped the reward system, enhancing user motivation and loyalty, resulting in a significant rise in customer retention and increased Total Transaction Volume (TTV). 👩‍👧‍👦Parent-Child Connect Flow: Simplified parent-child connection by eliminating QR code scanning, creating a seamless referral system, enhancing user convenience, and promoting increased family engagement within the platform. 💳Card Activation Flow Optimization: Restructured the card activation process to build trust and confidence in Zywa. Introduced a step-by-step progress tracking approach, starting with loading money, resulting in a smoother activation experience and increased user trust in the platform. Apart from this I worked on a new feature called : Social. This was an upcoming feature and was designed to test out for a small set of audience initially at some finance literacy fests that Zywa organized in Dubai. It was to induce more of a community component in the app in addition to variety of financial features Zywa provides. ____________________________________________________ 📱Social Media Content Creation: Designed captivating social media content to promote new features, offers, and campaigns, driving higher user acquisition and contributing to a notable increase in TTV. I also leveraged usage of modern generative AI tools like midjourney and firefly to produce a new direction for branding of zywa as a premium genZ brand { learnt a little bit of prompt enginerring meanwhile :) } You can check some of my social media works here : https://www.instagram.com/zywa_club/?img_index=1 (posts and reel covers) 👤Customer Support Interaction: Engaged with users daily through customer support, gaining valuable insights into user concerns and needs, which informed product improvements and contributed to a more positive customer experience. Since zywa runs internship programs each year where in they onboard (Real) genZ interns for growth roles. The interns are mostly involved in content creation and community growth objectives. I leveraged the team's this specficiation for 'user testing' of my design and this actually helped me understand - The flaws the in the flows - Understanding of the feature by the UAE based users - Getting to know the users better Tools I used here at Zywa are : 1. Notion : for documentation of problem statement, metrics, and feedbacks. 2. Whimsical : For storyboard ,competitive analysis (used Mobbin for references), UX flows , information architecture and wireframing 3.
